A great spotted woodpecker that had made a hole, laid and hatched eggs in a chestnut tree left the nest of Bird Park in June, 1999. A gray starling had also hatched eggs in the same hole and left in June, 2000. Though a chestnut tree was cut off by the July's typhoon. It was moved under breast wall construction. A scops owl that laid and hatched eggs in a chestnut tree left the nest of Bird Park this year.
